How to search and book insurance on Edvisor

Search and book insurance: Search > Insurance > International or OSHC Australia > criteria > Search. Filter results. Add to quote (tentative price) or Buy Now (immediate purchase, agency pays net price with their card). Tracked in Insurance Bookings. Admin/permission-only.
Find insurance policies and book them as an intermediary on behalf of the student.
Two booking models
- Book and pay yourself. Student pays the agency, agency pays the provider.
- Share payment link. Student pays the provider directly. See How to share an insurance payment link.

Search for insurance
- Go to Edvisor > Search > Insurance.
- Select International or OSHC Australia.
- Enter search criteria: start date, end date, age, client type, destination.
- Click Search.
Filter results
Use left-side filters to narrow until the right policy is found.
Add to quote vs Buy Now
- Add to quote. Adds policy to an existing quote. Student-facing price is tentative until purchase.
- Buy Now. Proceeds with immediate purchase.
Book the policy (Buy Now)
- Click Buy Now.
- Enter student details (search existing or create new).
- Select Pay Now.
- Enter agency credit card details.
Important. Use the agency card, not the student's. The agency pays the provider's net price.
- Booking appears in Insurance Bookings to track status.
Permissions
Only admins and users with specific permissions can buy insurance.
Currency note
Insurance providers usually charge in their local currency (e.g. OSHC paid in AUD).
