How to create a program for a school not on Edvisor

Last updated: May 7, 2026

When a school you work with isn't on Edvisor at all, you can still add their programs to your inventory. Edvisor calls this Self-Managed Inventory — your full portfolio in one place, even when not every school you work with is on the platform. Programs created this way are private to your team.

You can create and manage programs on Edvisor, even for schools that aren't on Edvisor yet. Once added, the program is searchable and quotable just like any other program — but only by your own team.

Use this when:

  • The school you work with isn't on Edvisor and inviting them hasn't worked yet.
  • You want to keep your full school portfolio on Edvisor.

Programs you create this way are private to your team. They appear in your search results, proposals, and sales, labelled with the provider name you enter.

How to create

  1. Go to Inventory → Programs.
  2. Click New Program in the top right. The Create New Program modal opens.
  3. Click Create without linking provider (below the Provider field).
  4. Click Create. The new program form opens with extra fields.
  5. Fill in the program details:
  6. Click Save.

What's next

After saving, the program opens in a fuller editor where you configure pricing, fees, eligibility, availability, photos, and visibility. Some Types (Higher Education, K-12, Pathway) ask for additional fields once you pick them.
