When you create accommodation, the form asks for fields that programs don't have. This page covers what each one is.

Type

The kind of accommodation you're listing. Six options:

  • Homestay — accommodation in a host family's home.
  • Residence — student residence operated by the school or a partner.
  • Hotel
  • Dormitory — shared sleeping arrangement, common in junior or seasonal programs.
  • Apartment — self-contained apartment.
  • Hostel

Room Type

Whether the student has a private room or shares with others.

  • Shared
  • Private

Bathroom Type

Whether the student has a private bathroom or shares.

  • Shared
  • Private

Meal Plan

Number of meals included per day.

  • No meals included
  • 1 meal a day
  • 2 meals a day
  • 3 meals a day

Weekly Checkout Date Rule

Controls how check-out dates are calculated for weekly bookings.

  • Check out on same day as check in — a student who checked in on a Monday checks out the following Monday after a one-week booking.
  • Check out one day early — the same student checks out on a Sunday.
