Agency: create private accommodation

Last updated: August 5, 2026

This article shows agencies how to create private accommodation for their own team. You can link it to a connected campus, or set it up on your own. Private accommodation is only visible to your team and appears in your own proposals.

What it is

As an agency, you can create your own accommodation to add to a proposal when the option you need is not already on Edvisor, or when you want a custom version. It is private to your team.

There are two situations:

  • Linked to a connected campus — accommodation that belongs to a school already on Edvisor.
  • Not linked — accommodation you arrange yourself, not tied to an Edvisor school.

Why it matters

  • You can add any accommodation to a proposal, even one not published on Edvisor.
  • It appears in your proposals alongside the program.
  • Only your team sees it.

Step by step

  1. At the top left, switch to Inventory.
  2. In the left menu, click Accommodation, then click New Accommodation.
  3. Choose the path:
  4. Click Create.
  5. Fill in the accommodation details:
  6. Save.
  7. After saving, set up pricing, start dates, eligibility, and add photos from the accommodation's tabs.

Tips and common issues

  • School-provided accommodation can only be added to a proposal together with a program from the same school. You cannot add that accommodation to a proposal on its own.
  • Use Internal notes to leave private notes for your team; students and schools do not see them.
  • Turn on "Include by default on all proposals" if you want this accommodation added automatically to every new proposal.
