How to create accommodation at a connected school's campus
Last updated: May 28, 2026
Agencies can create their own private accommodation listings at any school they're connected to on Edvisor. Use this when the school's catalog is missing an accommodation option you need to quote (a specific homestay, residence, or hostel). Listings created this way are private to your team — schools and other agencies cannot see them.
As an agency, you create accommodation in two situations:
- Linked to a school's campus you're connected to on Edvisor. Useful when the school's catalog is missing an accommodation option you want to quote (a specific homestay, residence, or hostel). The listing is scoped to that school's campus.
- Without linking any school. This is how agencies typically manage their own accommodation arrangements: a homestay you've set up directly, a residence partnership you've sourced yourself, or a hotel block you book from. Also useful for accommodation belonging to schools not on Edvisor.
Either way, accommodation you create as an agency is private to your team. The school cannot see it. Other agencies cannot see it.
How to start
- Go to Inventory → Accommodation.
- Click New Accommodation in the top right. The Create New Accommodation modal opens.
- Pick the path:
- Click Create. The new accommodation form opens.
Fill in the accommodation details
Click Save.
How accommodations work in proposals
Accommodation provided by a school can only be added to a proposal alongside a program from the same school. You can't quote accommodation on its own — there must be a connected program from the same school in the same option.
What's next
After saving, the accommodation opens in a fuller editor where you configure pricing, fees, eligibility, availability, photos, and visibility.
