How to request a missing school

Sometimes the school you need is not yet on Edvisor. This article explains the school types you will see when you search, and how to ask the Edvisor team to create a missing school profile so you can start building proposals.

School types you will see

When you search for schools on Edvisor, a school profile can be one of these types:

• EdCover, Pricing Available — Edvisor keeps and updates all the prices for this partner school. These schools carry the EdCover seal, which protects the prices shown to you.
• Profile Only — the school profile exists on Edvisor, but Edvisor does not manage its prices. You create and manage the programs, prices, promotions, and fees yourself, and they are specific to your account.

Why it matters

• If a school is not on Edvisor yet, you do not have to wait — you can ask us to create it.
• Once the profile is created, your agency is connected to it automatically, and it becomes available for other agencies to connect too.

Step by step

1. Go to Find Schools and search for the school.
2. If the school profile does not appear in the results, click Request Missing School at the top right.
3. Enter the school name and the school website.
4. Submit the request. The Edvisor team will create the school profile within 3 days.
5. Once it is created, your agency profile is automatically connected to the new school profile. Other agencies can also connect to it.

After the school is created (Profile Only)

For a Profile Only school, you manage its inventory yourself:

• Create the programs you need for that school.
• Set and update the prices, promotions, and fees yourself.
• All programs, fees, and price updates are specific to your account, so other agencies do not see your pricing.

Tips and common issues

• Always search in Find Schools first — the school may already exist under a slightly different name.
• Enter the correct website so the team can set up the right school.
• Requests are usually completed within 3 days.
