Starting an application from a Sale

Start application from Sale: 2 methods. (1) Open Sale > Start Application > select provider. (2) Applications page > Start Application > select student + Sale. Banner shows Sale/Quote origin with link back. Limit: 1 Sale per app, accommodation-only Sales disable Start Application button.

Applications can be created from any Sale to streamline the application flow with pre-filled student data.

Method 1: From a Sale

  1. Open any Sale.
  2. Click Start Application.
  3. Select a provider from the current Sale.
  4. Proceed with the standard Application flow.
  5. Existing student data is pre-filled.

Method 2: From the Applications page

  1. Go to Applications > Start Application.
  2. Select a student.
  3. Select a Sale listed for that student.
  4. Existing applications appear, or create a new one.
  5. Proceed with the standard Application flow.

What you'll see

In the Application view, a banner indicates:

  • Whether the application was created from a Sale or Quote.
  • A link back to the origin (Sale or Quote).

Limitations

  • Applications can be created from a single Sale only.
  • If a Sale only has accommodation providers (no education provider), the Start Application button is disabled.
