How to control Agency Portal sign-ups: manual vs automatic approval

Agency Portal sign-up control: Agency Portal > Permissions. Two options: auto (immediate access after email confirm) or manual approval (each sign-up reviewed). Auto = speed; manual = curated network/protect info.

The Agency Portal lets schools control which agencies can access the platform.

How to manage

  1. Log in to Edvisor Distribute.
  2. Click Agency Portal in the left-side menu.
  3. Scroll to the Permissions section.
  4. Choose:
  5. Click Save.

When to use which

  • Auto approval. Faster onboarding, no manual review needed. Best for trusted agency networks.
  • Manual approval. Protects sensitive information, maintains a curated network. Best for selective partnerships or markets where vetting matters.
