How to set product eligibility
Last updated: May 7, 2026
Product eligibility lets you control who can buy a program, accommodation, or other product on Edvisor. Restrict by student nationality, current location, or age — students who don't match cannot see or be quoted the product. Eligibility is set on the product after the initial save.
Product eligibility controls who can see, quote, and book a product. If a student doesn't match the eligibility criteria, the product is filtered out of search results and cannot be added to a proposal for them.
You set eligibility rules when creating or editing a product.
What you can restrict by
- Student nationality — the student's nationality.
- Student current location — Onshore (in the destination country) or Offshore (outside it).
- Student age — exact age, or a minimum/maximum.
How matching works
A product is shown when the student matches all the criteria you've set. If a criterion isn't set, it doesn't filter — for example, a product with no nationality restriction is available to students of any nationality.
When agencies search, the system uses the student's profile (or the search criteria they enter) to apply your eligibility rules automatically.
