Edvisor follows partner insurance providers' refund policies, with a 3.5% transaction fee on refunds. Application mistakes can be adjusted within 48 hours. Cancellation conditions: visa denied or not extended. Refund amount before policy start = full; after = depends on provider.
Edvisor honors the refund policies of partner insurance providers, with a 3.5% transaction fee on any refund.
Important
Edvisor itself has no responsibility to provide refunds on policies that have already started. Refunds follow each provider's terms.
Mistakes on the application
Policies can be adjusted for mistakes or errors made on the application, provided the adjustment is requested within 48 hours of the booking submission. Edvisor will fully refund any difference resulting from the adjustment.
Conditions for cancellation or coverage reduction
Policies can be cancelled or reduced if:
- The student's visa was denied and they did not travel.
- The student's existing visa was not extended.
Supporting documentation is required.
Refund amounts before policy starts
- Cancel entire policy: Full refund.
- Reduce coverage: Partial refund.
Refund amounts after policy starts
Depends on the terms and conditions of each provider. Check the provider's specific page in the knowledge base.
Transaction fee
A 3.5% transaction fee applies to all refunds processed by Edvisor.
