Create and set up a package

This article shows how to create a package from start to finish: basic settings, contents, requirements, pricing, and start dates. A package bundles a program with accommodation, add-ons, and fees at one price.

What it is

A package is a bundle you sell at a single price. You build it under Inventory > Packages, add its contents, then set the rules for who can buy it, how much it costs, and when it runs.

Why it matters

  • One clear price for the whole bundle.
  • Faster, more consistent proposals.
  • Full control over who sees it and when it is valid.

Step 1 — Create the package

  1. At the top left, switch to Inventory.
  2. Click Packages, then choose the school/campus from the dropdown.
  3. Click New Package.
  4. Fill in:

Step 2 — Add the contents

  1. Open Add Package Contents.
  2. Click Add New option and fill in:

Step 3 — Set requirements and conditions

Required:

  • Nationality (defaults to all)
  • Age (minimum and maximum)
  • Student current location (onshore, offshore, or does not matter)

Optional:

  • Minimum and maximum duration
  • English level
  • Agent notes — free text for the selling agents, for tips, conditions, or restrictions

Step 4 — Set pricing

Choose a pricing model (same as standalone products):

  • Simple, Flexible, or Fixed.
  • You can save the price as a template to reuse it.
  • Supplemental fees — mandatory fees that are not included in the package price and are charged separately on top (for example government taxes or mandatory student services).

Step 5 — Set start dates and validity

Choose how start dates work:

  • Use School Calendar
  • Use start date set in each offering
  • Enter custom start dates

Then set the valid time frame:

  • By booking made — valid based on when the booking is made.
  • By start date — valid based on the program start date.

Finally, turn on Visibility to make the package live.

Tips and common issues

  • Skip accommodation if the package does not include a stay.
  • Use Agent notes to pass conditions to the selling agent without showing them to the student.
  • Remember supplemental fees are charged on top of the package price, so students should be told about them.
