Student profile: management actions

Student profile right column (always visible): Assigned to, Status, Pipeline, Tags. Quick actions: tasks, notes, tags, emails, pipeline updates, archive, delete. Use Tasks for follow-ups, Notes for internal, Archive for inactive history, Delete only for test/duplicates.

The right column of the student profile is a static section visible across all tabs. Use it to manage the entire counseling process.

Always visible

  • Assigned to. Counselor on the student. Only admins can change.
  • Status. Current status of the student.
  • Pipeline. Current pipeline and stage.
  • Tags. Custom labels for organization.

Quick actions

  • Generate tasks. Create to-do items linked to the student. Tasks can be assigned to you, a teammate, or to the student themselves — when assigned to a student, they see it in their portal and can mark it complete.
  • Add notes. Internal notes for the team.
  • Create tags. Apply or create new tags.
  • Send emails. Compose and send emails to the student.
  • Update pipeline. Move the student through the sales pipeline stages.
  • Archive student. Move out of active database while preserving history.
  • Delete student. Permanently remove (irreversible).

When to use which action

  • Tasks. Follow-ups, deadlines, action items.
  • Notes. Internal comments not shared with the student.
  • Emails. Direct student communication.
  • Tags. Group students by campaign, source, or attribute.
  • Archive. Inactive but historical records.
  • Delete. Test data or duplicates only.
