Edvisor as a Zapier trigger event

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Edvisor as Zapier trigger: Student Created or Student Updated. Use cases: new student > Google Sheet/Slack, stage movement > CRM sync, time-based reminders. Test by creating real student in Edvisor first. Submit webhook URL via Webhooks Request Form.

Use Edvisor as the source that triggers automation in another app.

Two trigger types

  • Student Created. Fires when a new student profile is created in Edvisor.
  • Student Updated. Fires when an existing student profile is updated.

Common use cases

  • New student created → add row to Google Sheet.
  • Student moved to "Hot Lead" stage → send Slack notification to counselor.
  • Student updated → sync to CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce).
  • Student in stage X for Y days → trigger email reminder.

Setup tip

Before creating or testing Zaps:

  1. Log into Edvisor.
  2. Create or update a student record (this real event is used to test the trigger).
  3. Verify field mapping in Zapier.

Webhooks Request Form

For each Zap where Edvisor is the trigger, send the Zapier-generated webhook URL via the Webhooks Request Form so Edvisor can register the connection.
