Managing students: views and pipelines
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Students section CRM views: All (active), No Pipeline (unassigned), Archived (3-dot menu). Choose a pipeline from the Pipeline dropdown; stages show as tabs. Toggle List/Board — Board is a kanban where you drag students between stages. Customize columns via 3-dot → Manage table columns (per-user); ID and Name stay pinned.
The Students section is Edvisor's CRM core for tracking and managing the student database.
How to access
Students in the left side menu.
Default views
- All. All active students.
- No Pipeline. Students not yet assigned to a pipeline.
Additional views
- Archived Students. Click the 3-dot icon next to No Pipeline. To unarchive, open the student and click Restore Student.
- Student Pipelines. Custom pipelines mapping the sales process. Each stage = step toward conversion.
What pipelines are
Visual tools that map the sales process by creating stages. Each stage represents a step a prospect takes before becoming a customer.
Choosing a pipeline
Select a pipeline from the Pipeline dropdown at the top left of the Students screen. The students reorganize by that pipeline's stages, which appear as tabs across the top with a count on each stage.
List view and Board view
Switch between two layouts using the List / Board toggle at the top right:
- List. A table of students, one row each.
- Board. A kanban board with one column per pipeline stage. Each student appears as a card. Drag a card from one column to another to move that student to a new stage — no need to open each profile.
Stage changes can trigger automations
Moving a student to a new stage — for example by dragging a card in Board view — can trigger an automation. The Pipeline Stage Change trigger supports the conditions "Moved to stage" and "Moved from stage", so an automation can watch either direction. Bulk reassignments do not trigger it, so students moved in bulk will not set off stage-based automations.
See How to set up Automations.
Customize columns (List view)
- Click the 3-dot icon next to the list pagination.
- Select Manage table columns.
- ID and Name are default columns and always stay in view. Tick the additional fields you want to show, then drag the selected fields to reorder them.
- Click Save.
Column choices are per-user — each team member sees their own configuration.
