How to create a program

Last updated: May 7, 2026

Programs are the core unit of inventory on Edvisor — the courses, degrees, and classes you quote, sell, and book. There are three paths to creating one, depending on whether you're an agency or a school and where the program comes from. This page is the entry point.

A program is the core unit of inventory on Edvisor. Whether you're an agency placing students or a school recruiting them, you create programs the same way: from Inventory → Programs, by clicking New Program in the top right.

What changes is which path you take in the Create New Program modal that opens.

Pick the path that fits your situation

  • You're an agency, and the school is on Edvisor. Pick the school's campus from the Provider field. The program is private to your team.
  • You're an agency, and the school isn't on Edvisor. Click Create without linking provider. Enter the school name in plain text. The program is private to your team.
  • You're a school, creating a program for one of your own campuses. Pick your campus from the Provider field. Once you publish, every connected agency can search and book it.

Whichever path you take, the program details form looks the same. After saving, you configure pricing, fees, eligibility, availability, and visibility in the program editor.
