How to create email templates for payment reminders

Customize payment email templates: subject, body, attachments, defaults, timing. Requires EdWallet. Customize per-send or set defaults: Settings > Company > Emails > Templates + Notification emails for sale payment plans. Per-Sale overrides defaults. Payment button always included.
Customize payment request and reminder email content for consistency and brand.
What can be customized
- Email subject line and body.
- Attachments (optional).
- Default templates for the team.
- Timing settings (when to send and how often).
Prerequisite
Active and fully set up EdWallet account.
How to customize when sending a Payment Request
When creating a Payment Request from the Sales section:
- Fill in payment details.
- In the email editor, choose:
- Send the request as usual.
How to set default email templates for the team
- Settings > Company > Emails.
- Scroll to Templates section.
- Click + New Template, add content, Save.
- Use a clear name for easy identification.
- Scroll to Notification emails for sale payment plans.
- Configure default templates for:
Defaults preload whenever these emails are sent. Users can override per-Sale if needed.
Important
- The payment button always appears in payment emails.
- Users can override the default per-Sale.
- Files can be attached to these emails like any other email template.
