Split payments by total: select # of payments > system auto-divides equally > customize per installment if needed > set dates. Remaining amount must = $0 before sharing.
Divide the total cost of a program into equal or customized parts.
How to set up
- Select Split payments by total.
- Scroll to Payment Schedule.
- Select the number of payments to divide into.
- The system auto-divides the total amount equally.
- Edit any payment amount manually if non-equal splits are needed.
- Set the date for each installment.
Verification
The remaining amount at the bottom must show $0 before sharing the plan with the student.
When to use
- Standard installment plans (3 equal payments, 4 equal payments).
- Custom-amount plans where the agency decides each installment value.
- When the student wants flexibility on installment dates.
