How to share an insurance payment link

Share insurance payment link: Search > Insurance > Buy Now > select student > Student Pays > generate link. Set due date. Share via Copy Link (WhatsApp etc) or Email to Student. Students can edit most details (not email/birthdate/nationality). Pays via credit/debit card. Confirmation auto.

Let students pay for their own insurance directly while the agency still earns commission.

When to use

  • The agency prefers students to pay providers directly.
  • Local regulations or policies require direct student-to-provider payments.
  • The agency wants to avoid acting as an intermediary on insurance funds.

Generate the payment link

  1. Go to Edvisor > Search > Insurance.
  2. Select International or OSHC Australia.
  3. Enter search criteria.
  4. Click Buy Now on the preferred plan.
  5. Add an existing student or create a new one.
  6. Complete the form (student info, emergency contact).
  7. Scroll to the total amount.
  8. Select Student Pays.
  9. Click to generate the payment link.

Share the link

Set a due date for the URL to expire — students must pay before this date.

Two sharing options:

  • Copy Payment Link. URL to share via WhatsApp or any channel.
  • Email to Student. Send via Edvisor's email system.

What the student sees

The payment link shows:

  • Insurance plan details: coverage and cost.
  • Personal details linked to the policy.

Students can update most details directly. Cannot update: email, birthdate, nationality — those require admin updates from the agency's Edvisor.

Students pay via credit or debit card.

Confirmation

Once paid, the booking is confirmed automatically.
