How to create and manage add-ons

Learn how to create, manage, and apply custom Add-Ons on Edvisor to enhance your quotes with additional services like custom insurance, airport pickups, and more.

Add-ons are additional services you offer beyond the core program, accommodation, or fees. Examples of add-ons include airport pickups, meal plans, and any other extra services you’d like to include in your quotes.

💡 On Edvisor, we provide excellent insurance options with competitive rates that offer commissions and can be quoted directly from the platform. However, you can also use the add-ons section to create your own custom insurance options.

How to create your own Add-Ons

To create your own add-ons or services follow these steps:

Create Add-Ons-2

Go to Edvisor
Select Products > Add-Ons from the right side menu of your Edvisor platform.
Click on + New Add-ons
Enter your Add-On name, description and location or provider (optional)
Save your changes.
Scroll down to your Add-On's pricing. There are 4 types of pricing you can add:

- Simple: A fixed rate regardless of the duration. For example, $200 per week for any duration.
- Flexible Duration: Different prices depending on the duration. For example, $200 per week for 1-4 weeks, and $175 per week for 5+ weeks.
- Fixed Duration: A set price and duration. For example, $2000 for a 4-week stay.
- One time: A one time fee.

Once done, click Save

💡 You can also add internal notes (only visible to your team members), set a default language and include translations.

How add Add-Ons to your quotes

Select Quotes from the right side menu of the platform.
Click on the quote you’d like to add the Add-ons to.
Select the quote option where you’d like to include these Add-ons (you’ll need to repeat this process for each quote option) and click Edit
Scroll down to find the Add-ons section.
Click on + Add Add-On
Choose one from the 3 options:
- School Add-on: Here you’ll find all the Add-ons created by the school. You can select any of them to include in your quotes.
- Saved Add-on: This list contains all the custom Add-ons you’ve created in the Products > Add-ons section, as explained earlier in this article.
- Custom Add-on: This option allows you to create a new Add-On from scratch specifically for this quote. This Add-on is for one-time use only and will not be saved in your saved add-ons list.

Choose the right Add-ons and save your changes!

💡 Pro tip! If you want to include the same add-on in all your quotes, check the “Include this by default on all quotes” option when creating your Add-on in the products section.

How to manage, edit or delete your Add-Ons

All your custom Add-ons are saved in the Products section.

Go to Edvisor
Select Products > Add-Ons from the right side menu of your Edvisor platform.
- To edit an Add-On, simply click on it's name and edit the corresponding details.
- To delete an Add-On, click on it and select Delete, or open it and select Delete
