Displaying, hiding, and grouping your EdCommerce providers

Explains how to manage which providers appear on an EdCommerce site from the site's Settings > Providers list, where each provider can be toggled on to display or off to hide. Also covers importing providers from a connected Edvisor account using program-type and recruiting-country filters, creating new providers, and customizing provider landing pages via the "Landing page configuration" button (cards, programs, chat look and feel, branding, images and text). Additionally covers grouping providers into destinations (creating a destination with a name, program type and image, assigning active providers via the three-dot 'Assign Provider' menu, and activating destinations under Settings > Ecommerce > Search > Destination Section to appear as a homepage carousel) and grouping providers under companies (creating a company with a name and logo, toggling companies on and off, and assigning active providers via 'Assign Provider').

Displaying and hiding providers

There are multiple ways you can customize your providers! You can toggle them on and off, configure their profile design, edit the cards or the programs associated with them, and change the look and feel of the chat.

To manage your provider list, go to your Edcommerce site's settings and click on "Providers".

You'll see a list of all the providers available for you to display on your Edcommerce. You can toggle them on and off whether you'd like to display them or hide them.

Importing and Creating New Providers

At the top of your tool, you'll see two options to import providers or create new providers.

If you choose to import a provider, it'll pull from your Edvisor connected account and add all the providers that match your search. For instance, if you select languages and vocational and add a recruiting country (optional), you'll see a list of all the schools that meet that search, and you can toggle them on and off to add them to the provider list.

Customizing Provider Landing Pages

One of the most powerful features of Edcommerce is the ability to customize provider profiles or provider landing pages.

To customize a provider landing page, select the provider you want to edit, and click on the "Landing page configuration" button.

From there, you can edit the cards or the programs associated with that provider and change the look and feel of the chat. You can also change the landing page design to match your branding or add custom images and text.

Grouping providers by Destination

Step 1: Create a "destination"

Go to your EdCommerce site's settings, and select "Destinations" from the main menu.

To create a new destination, click 'New Destination.'

Enter a name for your destination, such as 'Canada,' select the type of program, and upload an image to represent it.

Once you've created a destination, it will appear in the list along with any others you have created. From this section, you can toggle destinations on or off to make them visible or hidden, and you can also edit their names and images as needed.

Step 2: Add providers to your destination

Next, add the providers you want to include within that destination:

1. Click on the three-dot icon next to the destination you just created.
2. Select "Assign Provider."

On the right side, you will see a list of all providers that meet the criteria for that destination. This list is generated based on the active providers you have set for your site.

Toggle them on or off to add them or remove them from the destination group.

Step 3: Activate destinations on your home page

After creating and assigning providers to your destinations, the next step is to activate these destinations on the homepage.

• Go to your Settings > Ecommerce > Search > Destination Section and activate the destinations you wish to publish by toggling them on.

On the homepage, you'll be able to see the activated destinations in carousel format.

If the student clicks on any of the destinations, they will be redirected to the results page.

Grouping providers by Company

Companies on Edcommerce can be anything you need to organize your providers. For example, a company could be "Language schools in Australia."

Create a "company"

First, go to your Edcommerce site's settings section, and select the "Companies" button.

Then, click on "Create Company." Give your company a name, such as "Canada" and upload a logo to represent it.

Once you've created a company, you'll see it listed along with any other companies you've created. You can toggle companies on and off and edit their names and logos as needed.

Add providers to your company

Now, let's add some providers to the new company. Click on "Assign Provider" and select the provider(s) that meet your criteria from the list on the right. This list is generated based on the active providers you set for your site.
