How to manage agency connections (instant access vs manual approval)

Agency connection modes: Settings > School > Agency Connections. Instant (immediate access) or Manual (approve each). Like public vs private profile. After connecting, send agency a separate agreement to sign and store in Edvisor.

Schools can choose whether agencies connect immediately or require manual approval.

How to set

  1. Log in to your school account.
  2. Click the school name in the top menu > Settings.
  3. Go to the School tab.
  4. Scroll to Agency Connections.
  5. Choose:
  6. Save.

Analogy

Like a social media profile setting: public (instant) vs. private (approve who connects).

When to use which

  • Instant connect. Maximum reach, agencies don't wait. Best for newer schools or those building a network.
  • Manual approval. Curated network, full control. Best for established schools with quality control concerns.

After connecting (important)

After connecting on Edvisor, contact each agency separately to send an agreement. Recommended: store signed agreements in the Edvisor account for easy access by both parties.
