EdWallet: overview and account setup

EdWallet is Edvisor's free financial management tool, powered by TransferMate. Lets agencies and schools receive, send, manage, and withdraw payments across multiple currencies, embedded across Edvisor, Agency Portal, EdCommerce, and Student Portal. Also covers the account areas (Balance, Student Payments, Wallet, Bank Accounts, Settings), how to create an EdWallet account, and how to set it up (currencies, bank details, integrations).

Balance

Student Payments

All requested and processed incoming payments. Each entry shows:

  • Amount
  • Status
  • Source

Wallet

  • Transactions. All transfers from wallet to bank account.
  • Payouts. All payments sent to providers or other entities.

Bank Accounts

  • Company Accounts. Manage agency's own bank accounts.
  • External Accounts. Manage external accounts (e.g. providers').

Settings

  • Add new currency accounts.
  • Integrate EdWallet with Edvisor and EdCommerce.
  • Manage users.

Creating an EdWallet account

Steps to register a new EdWallet account.

1. Sign up

  1. Visit https://wallet.edvisor.io.
  2. Click Sign Up.
  3. Use a generic company email (each company is limited to one EdWallet account).
  4. Set a password.

2. Verify email

A confirmation email is sent. Click the validation link to verify the email address before continuing.

3. Provide company information

Log in with the verified credentials and complete:

  • Business name
  • Website
  • Country
  • TAX number
  • Identification (ID)
  • Monthly billing
  • Transactions per month
  • Accept terms and conditions

4. Verification process

Account enters review for security and accuracy. This is thorough and takes time.

5. Access the account

Once verified, log in at https://wallet.edvisor.io.

Setting up your account

After creating an account, configure currencies, bank details, and integrations.

1. Set up currency accounts

EdWallet supports unlimited currencies, but only those you regularly use should be enabled.

  1. Go to Settings > Balance.
  2. Click Create new currency account.
  3. Select currencies to enable.

2. Add bank details

Link company bank accounts for receiving payments and withdrawing funds.

  1. Go to Bank Accounts > Company Accounts.
  2. Click Create New Bank Account > Company Account.
  3. Enter country, main currency, and bank account details.
  4. Refresh — the account appears under Company Accounts, pending validation.

3. Integrate with Edvisor and EdCommerce

  • EdCommerce. Set up directly via the EdCommerce settings.
  • Edvisor. The Edvisor team handles this automatically once your EdWallet account is created.
