What each payment status means in EdWallet.
Incoming Payments
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Received | Funds received in the TransferMate-Edvisor account |
| Credited | Funds credited and moved to the currency account |
Payment Requests
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Open | Payment link created. Student has not paid yet |
| Pending Authorization (bank transfers only) | Compliance team is authorizing the payment with the bank |
| Authorized (credit cards only) | Card authorized after payment. Under review between bank and credit partner |
| In Transit | Security passed. Funds en route to destination without further flagging |
| Credited / Paid | Funds available on currency balance |
| Expired | Payment link expired |
What this means in practice
- Open does not trigger processing times. The student must initiate payment first.
- Authorized and In Transit are processing-time states.
- Credited is the final state — funds are usable.
