How to refund student or corporate payments

EdWallet student/corporate payment refunds: contact payments@edvisor.io immediately if just made (may be reversed). If cleared, create new bank account, withdrawal payment, then email payments@edvisor.io with payment IDs. Card refunds up to 15 business days. Same-currency refunds avoid FX fees.

Process for refunding student payments and invoiced funds from EdWallet.

If the payment was just made (in error)

Contact Edvisor Payments immediately at payments@edvisor.io. If caught early, the transaction may be interrupted and reversed.

If the payment has already cleared

  1. Go to https://wallet.edvisor.io/bank-accounts/company/list and create a new Bank Account to collect refund payments from.
  2. Create a new withdrawal payment to the new account.
  3. Email payments@edvisor.io with the transaction details so it can be monitored. Provide payment IDs for each transaction.

What to expect

  • Card refunds back to the payer typically take up to 15 business days.
  • Same-currency refunds (USD to USD, GBP to GBP) avoid extra FX fees.
  • Different-currency refunds may have FX spread applied.
  • No administrative fee charged by Edvisor for cancellation/refund of erroneous payments.
