What is a 'Sale' on Edvisor?
Last updated: May 6, 2026
Sales bridge quote acceptance to trip start. Manages trip overview, files (upload/share), payments (request/track), and syncs with Student Portal. Next step after quote acceptance. Critical for full platform value.
Sales bridge the gap between sending a quote and the start of the student's trip. Once a student accepts a quote, the Sales section manages all aspects of trip preparation.
What Sales does
- Trip overview. Detailed view of the student's purchases (accommodation, courses, fees, services).
- Files. Upload, share, and receive documents needed for program and visa applications.
- Payments. Request, receive, and track payments from students.
- Student Portal sync. Fully synced with the Student Portal for collaboration.
When to use
Right after a quote: when a student accepts a quote option, create a Sale to start the trip preparation workflow.
Why this matters
If an agency is only using Edvisor to send quotes, they're missing the full value of the platform. Sales is where execution happens.
Next steps
- Navigate the Sales section.
- Filter and export sales data.
- Understand the Sale profile.
- Create a Sale from any quote.
- Give students access to the Student Portal.
- Exchange files and documents.
- Request and track payments.
