Customizing the look and feel of your EdCommerce search, results, and proposals pages
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Describes how to customize the look and feel of the three EdCommerce storefront pages. Search page: its four sections — Banner (1080x1920 px image up to 1 MB, plus text, subtext and an optional video label and URL), Course Section (rename it and toggle featured programs), Provider Section (highlight featured schools) and Company Section (feature a brand or group of schools/campuses); leaving a section blank hides it. Search results page: banner, title, subtitle, description and a call-to-action text button. Proposals page: Banner (image, title, subtitle, description, CTA button text and video URL), Agency (logo, agency name, tagline, description, plus awards and highlights), Contact Us (email, phone, address and award images/carousel) and Social Networks. Also notes that 'Access Now' previews the live site before you scroll down and click Save.
In this tutorial, we'll show you how to easily modify the elements of your EdCommerce Search, Results and Proposals pages.
Search page
The search customization page is divided into 4 sections: Banner, Courses, Providers and Company.
Banner Section
You can enhance your site with a captivating 1080x1920 px banner (max 1 MB). Use a good quality image for the best impact.
You can also add some text or subtext for more information, and even a video label and URL if you want users to watch a video as part of the shopping experience.
Course Section
The 'Course Section' is the first section of your site. You can name it anything you want, such as 'Program Results' or 'Best Sellers,' and select the programs you'd like to highlight.
Simply toggle on the courses you want to appear by default. These programs are based on the schools you enabled when you first created your site or on the e-commerce details section.
Provider Section
The Provider section will appear second on your Search page. In this case you can highlight some of your favorite schools (the first section is for programs, this second section is for schools).
Simply toggle on the educators you want to appear by default and customize the name of the section if you'd like to. For example you can name it 'Top Schools'.
Company Section
Finally, in the Company section, you can choose groups of schools or campuses that you've selected — for example, if you made a brand for a bunch of schools. Then, you can select that brand or group to show in this company section as a recommended brand or group of schools.
If you'd like to hide any of these sections, you can always leave them blank and they won't show up on your site.
Before you save all the changes you've made, click on "Access Now" to preview the live site that your users will see. If you're happy with everything, simply scroll down and click "Save."
That's it! With these simple steps, you can customize your search page to suit your needs and make it look amazing.
Search results page
Just like the Search and Proposals pages, you can change the default look and feel of the Results page.
Simply upload a banner, enter a title, a subtitle and a description, and then a call to action in the text button field. Click on "Access Now" to view a preview of the page that you just created.
Finally, if you're happy with everything, simply go back and click "Save".
Proposals page
Your proposals page is an essential part of your website, and it should reflect your brand's values and aesthetics. Fortunately, customizing your proposals page is easy with the tools available to you. Here are the steps you can follow to customize your proposals page.
Banner Section
The banner section is where you can upload an image, title, subtitle, and description to provide users with an idea of what your page is about. You can also add a call-to-action text button and a video URL for users to link out to.
Agency Section
In this section, you can provide information about your agency by uploading your logo, agency name, tagline, and a little description. You can also add extra sections for awards and highlights about your agency.
Contact Us Section
The contact us section is where you can add your contact information, such as your email address, phone number, and address. You can also add images under the awards section and carousel to give a visual representation of your achievements.
Social Networks Section
The social networks section is where you can add all of your social media platforms to make it easier for users to connect with you.
Preview and Save
Once you have made all the necessary changes, click on "Access Now" to preview the live site that your users would see. If you are satisfied with everything, simply scroll down and click "Save."
In conclusion, customizing your proposals page is a simple process that will help you showcase your brand's identity and make your website more user-friendly. So go ahead and try it out!
