Understanding a quote: structure and parts

Last updated: May 6, 2026

Quote structure: 4 parts. (1) Action points top: Send/Preview/Start Sale/Start Application + delete and save-as-template. (2) Setup: student/language/expiry/owner/currency. (3) Course options side-by-side with extras, deposits, payment plans. (4) Notes for student.

A quote has four main sections.

1. Action points (top)

Buttons at the top:

  • Send to share with student.
  • Preview to see student view.
  • Start a Sale (after acceptance).
  • Start an Application (after acceptance — sends to school).
  • 3-dot menu. Delete the quote, save as template.

Important. Applications are only available once a quote option has been accepted by the student. Recommended to start the Sale BEFORE the application.

2. Quote setup

First block contains:

  • Student name.
  • Language.
  • Expiry date.
  • Owner.
  • Currency.

3. Course options

Programs added to the quote, displayed side-by-side.

Each option supports:

  • Add extras (accommodation, insurance, add-ons, fees).
  • Add deposit.
  • Add payment plan.

3-dot icon per option:

  • Mark as favorite.
  • Delete option.
  • Duplicate option.

4. Notes

Free-text notes for the student. Use for exchange rate explanations, promotion clarifications, or custom messages.
