How to set up Proposal display preferences
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Display preferences are reusable templates that control what information students see in a proposal and how it is presented in the Student Portal. Set one as the default, or apply templates to specific schools or programs. You can configure pricing display, school and program information, images, branding, and campus sections, and preview a template before saving.
Display preferences control what information students see in a proposal and how it is presented in the Student Portal. You create reusable templates, then apply them to specific schools or programs — or set one as the default for everything else.
Where to find it
Go to Settings → Recruitment → Proposals. The Proposal display preference section is at the top. Click Add display preference to create a template.
Create a template
- Click Add display preference.
- Enter a name for the template.
- Choose how it applies (see below).
- Configure the display options.
- Preview your changes, then save.
Choose how a template applies
- Default template. Turn on Set as default template to use it for every school and program that does not have its own template. You do not select any school or program.
- School- or program-specific. Leave the default toggle off and use the Applies To search to pick the schools or programs the template applies to. To change what a template is applied to later, open the template and use the Assignment logic tab.
What you can configure
- Pricing display — detailed, grouped, simplified, or hidden.
- School information — which school details students can see.
- School name — show the official name, a custom nickname, or hide it.
- Program descriptions — show or hide them.
- Images and branding — show school images or your own agency branding.
- Campus information — choose which campus sections appear.
You can preview any template before saving to see how it will look to students.
