How to add a deposit to your quotes

Discover how to request a deposit payment directly from the quotes you create on Edvisor.

When you're creating a quote, you can include a deposit request. This lets you set a specific amount that students must pay to confirm their booking.

Paying the deposit is quick and easy for students. They can do it directly from the quote, using their credit or debit card.

Once paid, the deposit is transferred to your EdWallet account, ready for you to use anytime.

How to add a deposit to a quote

  1. Whether you're working on a new quote or updating an existing one, scroll down and click on 'Add deposit' in one of the quote options.

  2. Select the currency for the payment.
  3. Choose 'split payments by total'.

  4. Under 'Deposit type' select 'Amount',  and input the required deposit value. 💡You can select any amount here.

  5. Save your changes.

This creates a one-time payment deposit for the student.

How students view and pay deposits

Students will find a 'Request to Book' button within the quote where the deposit is included. *Repeat this process for each option to ensure deposits are added accordingly.

When clicking on it, they'll see the details of the deposit and a call to action to pay the amount you entered.

This will direct them to our payments portal, powered by our innovative technology, EdWallet, where they can pay the deposit directly via bank transfer, credit, or debit card.
