      How to Share an Insurance Payment Link

      Learn how to generate and share an insurance payment link with students, ensuring they can easily pay for their insurance online.

      There are two different ways to sell insurance through Edvisor:

      1. Book and pay the insurance yourself on behalf of the student.
      2. Share a payment link with your student for them to pay their own insurance 👇

      💡 A payment link is a simple URL that allows your students to quickly and easily pay for their insurance online.

      Both options provide you with a commission. You should choose one or the other based on your operational requirements, legal regulations, or personal preferences.

      In this article, we will focus on the second option: how to share a payment link with your student for them to pay their own insurance.

      🗺️ Steps:

      1. Search for the right insurance insurance option.
      2. Generate a payment link for the selected insurance plan.
      3. Share the payment link with students
      4. Understand the student's experience

      1. Search for International Insurance or OSHC

      First, find the right insurance option for your student.

      • Go to Edvisor > Search > Insurance
      • Select International or OSHC Australia.
      • Enter your search criteria: start date, end date, age, client type or destination.
      • Click Search to view the available options.



      2. Generate a payment link

      Once you have the search results, it’s time to generate the payment link you’ll share with your students.

      • Review the search results and click Buy Now on your preferred insurance plan.
      • Add an existing student or create a new student.
      • Complete the form to add all the missing details, such as the student information or emergency contact.
      • Scroll down to find the total amount to be paid.
      • 👉 Select Student Pays and click the button to generate the payment link for your student.

      3. Share the payment link with your student

      Once your link has been generated, enter a due date for the URL to expire. The student must process the payment before this date!

      You have two options to share the payment link:

      • Copy Payment Link: This option allows you to copy the payment URL to share it directly with your student via WhatsApp or any other channel.
      • Email to Student: This option allows you to send it via email through Edvisor.

      4. Understand the student's experience

      By clicking on the payment link, the student will be directed to a page where they can see:

      • The details of the insurance plan, including coverage and cost.
      • Their personal details linked to this policy purchase.

      ⚠️ Ask your student to review their personal information before processing the payment! They can update all their details directly except for email, birthdate, and nationality. If any of these need updating, you’ll need to do it from your Edvisor platform.

      • Finally, they’ll be able to pay by entering a credit or debit card.

      ✅ Once the payment is completed, the booking will be confirmed.
