Assist Card is a global student travel assistance company with presence in 190+ countries. Different model than traditional travel insurance: focuses on assistance services rather than reimbursement. Products are available on Edvisor for Mexico-based agencies.

Travel assistance vs travel insurance

With standard travel insurance, the student finds doctors and pays out-of-pocket, then claims for reimbursement.

With Assist Card, the student calls a 24/7 Alarm Center. Assist Card sends a doctor, schedules appointments with specialists, or directs to the right hospital. Assist Card pays directly. Student doesn't pay out of pocket.

Conditions

• All products are priced per day, per person when added to a proposal.
• Minimum duration: 14 days.
• Maximum duration: 364 days. Option to acquire a second-year product.
• Age range: 12 to 69 years.
• All products are exclusive to the student market.

• USD 100,000 including travel assistance and medical assistance.
• Coverage starts on the course start date.
• 24/7 online or telephone support.

Insurance Finder option

Assist Card products can also be embedded in an agency's website via Edvisor's Student Insurance Finder, allowing students to purchase directly while the agency earns commission from Edvisor.
