How to Customize Your “From” Email Address for Student Notifications

Learn how to personalize the “from” email address used for sending EdCommerce notifications to students, creating a more professional and branded experience.

Student scan receive different types of notifications through EdCommerce:

  • Information Request: Notification when a student submits a contact form.
  • Booking: Notification for a reservation.
  • New User Creation: Includes login and password.
  • Password Recovery: For resetting passwords.
  • Share Quotation: Sent when a quotation is created in EdCommerce.

You can personalize the email from which these notifications are sent using your corporate email domain, creating a more professional and branded experience for your students.

How to Customize Your “From” Email Address for Student Notifications

You can assign different emails for each office or use the same one for all.

Add a new email:

  • Go to your EdCommerce platform > Settings > Email
    💡 You'll see a list with all your offices, you can assign different emails for each office or use the same email for all of them.
  • Click on any of these offices > Add Email and provide:
    • "From" Email: The address sending the notification.
    • "From" Name: Name displayed in the inbox.
    • "Reply-to" Email: The address for replies (can differ from the sender email).

Verification Process:

After entering the email details, verify the address by clicking the link sent by our provider, Postmark.

Final Setup:

Once verified:

  • Return to EdCommerce and refresh the page.
  • Select the newly configured email for each office.

Assign email

To use separate emails for different offices, repeat the process with each address. For access notifications, password recovery, and quotation emails, you can set a default email address for all offices.
