- Maximum benefit per item: $50.
- Annual maximum (single): $300.
- Annual maximum (family): $600 (per individual same as single, up to family cap).
- Only covers PBS-listed prescriptions from a doctor.
- Excludes: non-doctor-prescribed, non-PBS medications.
Not covered
- Dental, physio, osteopaths, chiro, naturopaths (unless meeting MBS requirements).
- Drugs not prescribed by a doctor or not on PBS.
- Optical charges.
- Co-payments under Australian law or above MBS Fee.
- Service fees not included in policy benefits.
